Fueled by toffee chocolate treats, Santa has been perfecting his pentatonic scales and writing songs for his first solo album under the stage name Kris "Hit Single"Kringle. When Santa told us what he'd been up to all year. we knew we had to brew a face-melting Toffee Chocolate Stout in his honor. He took one sip of the velvety smooth brew and let out a falsette scream of approval that sealed the deal on this year's Private Reserve.

We had a blast working with @honeymamas on the 2022 Santa's Private Reserve. We both love creating unique products with exceptional quality and creative flavor profiles. Our tahini, tangerine and chocolate flavored stout is no exception. It starts with a roasted nutty taste that’s folded into rich cocoa with a finish of bright tangerine – perfect for this time of year.

Santa has always been convinced that all great confections come from the North Pole, so we reached out to our friends at Honey Mama’s to help us show him otherwise. The Honey Mama’s crew whipped up some of their favorite tasty treats and we sent them up to Santa in a care package. It’s safe to say he feels a bit differently now, for mere minutes after receiving the delivery Santa was on the phone with us gushing about the delicious goodies, begging us to recreate this in his annual Private Reserve. Per his request. we teamed up with Honey Mama’s to create this tahini, tangerine and chocolate flavored stout. Santa is sure to love it. and so are you.

なぜオレゴン州ニューポート?
Rogueの創設者であるJack Joyceは、オレゴン州をドライブして2番目のブルーパブの場所を探していたとき、異常な吹雪でオレゴン州ニューポートで立ち往生していることに気付きました。そこで彼は、Mohava Niemi、別名「Mo」（モーズ レストランの創設者）と出会い、彼女の懇親的な対応を受けました。有名なクラムチャウダーを飲みながら、Moはジャックにバーの上に住むことをずっと夢見ていたと語り、空いている店先とガレージをジャックに2つの条件で借りるよう申し出ました。

Why Newport, Oregon?
Jack Joyce, Rogue’s founder, was driving through Oregon looking for a location for a second brewpub when he found himself stuck in Newport, Ore., in an unusual snowstorm. There he met Mohava Niemi, aka “Mo” (founder of Mo’s Restaurants) who extended her signature hospitality. Over a bowl of her famous clam chowder, Mo told Jack she’d always dreamed of living above a bar and offered to rent Jack the vacant storefront and her garage under two conditions:
1.Rogue promises to “feed the fisherman.” This was Mo’s way of saying give back to the community because the vast majority of Newport’s residents are fishermen. Rogue committed to feeding the fisherman three decades ago and still gives back today through donations, cause beers and partnerships such as the one with Dreamland Skateparks.
2.A photo of Mo in a bathtub forever hangs over the bar. To this day, this photo of Mo hangs in every
Rogue pub.
Jack agreed to these terms and the Rogue Bayfront Public House soon opened in Mo’s storefront. Before long, this would become Rogue Ales Spirits main location when the Ashland brewpub was forced to close
due to flooding.
Rogue Today
The brewpub in the back of the Bayfront Public House eventually moved to a larger facility on South Beach in Newport, which has now become Rogue World Headquarters. Over the past three decades, Rogue has grown from a brewery to a globally recognized beverage brand. Rogue products are now available in all 50 states and more than 50 countries.
Rogue today includes 6 pubs throughout Oregon, Rogue Brewer’s on the Bay Production Facility, Rogue Eastside Pilot Brewery, Rogue Spirits Distillery and Rogue Rolling Thunder Barrel Works, where the head cooper handmakes a barrel a day.
