「デュベル・トリプル・ホップ」は、3種類のホップを使用したとても香り高いビールです。
もとは2007年にスタッフの為だけに造られた試作品だったのですが、その出来があまりにも素晴らしかったので、2010年からデュベル・トリプル・ホップを毎年異なる配合で製造することになりました。デュベル・トリプル・ホップは世界的に有名な「デュベル」の姉妹品で、デュベルよりもアクセントの効いた苦みが特徴です。
これは3種類のホップ（通常のデュベルは2種類）を醸造工程中にステップを分けて加えることで実現されます。
ザーツホップ（Saaz）とスティリアン・ゴールディングホップ（Styrian Golding）は最初の製造段階で、3番目のホップはドライホッピングの段階で加えられます。
2016年、シトラ・ホップの入ったデュベル・トリプル・ホップは、過去に造られた6種類の中でデュベルファンから一番に選ばれました。
Duvel Triplel Hop Citaは濃厚でさわやかなベルギーIPAで、明るいagrumの香りが充満している。これは、米ワシントンのアキマバレーからの第3のホップCitaを加えたおかげだ。
Duvel Triplel Hop Citaには、Citaというアロマホップを使用しています。この芳しい第3のホップはワシントン州のアキマの谷で育ち、新鮮なグレープフルーツとトロピカルフルーツの味で食感を豊かにした。
Duvel Tripel Hop is a very fragrant beer with three hop varieties.
It was a prototype that was originally made only for the brewery’s staff in 2007, but because the result was so great, it was decided to brew Duvel Tripel Hop in different variations every year from 2010.
Duvel Tripel Hop is the younger brother of the world famous Duvel and is characterized by a more pronounced bitterness than Duvel. This is achieved by adding 3 different hop varieties (as opposed to the 2 types of the regular Duvel) in separate steps in the brewing process.
Saaz and Styrian Golding are added in the first stage of production, while the ever changing third hop variety is being used during the dry-hopping step.
Among the six types of Duvel Tripel Hop that were brewed in the past, the version which used Citra-hop was chosen by the Duvel fans as the most delicious one in 2016.

The addition of Citra hop gives the beer a more pronounced fruity taste, with easily recognizable grapefruit and lime flavors. The aromas of passion fruit, peach, lychee and other tropical fruits create a unique aroma. Compared to the regular Duvel, the alcohol is a little bit higher with 9.5%.
