A slightly veiled wheat beer brewed with barley and wheat malt with the addition of co- riander and curaçao (bitter orange peels). A fresh quirky thirst quencher with character. “Dubbel” because of its higher alcohol degree than the classic “wit bier”.
2005年以来、エルペ メーレ市のメーレにあるデ グラゼン トレン醸造所で醸造されています。アルコール度数7%の麦わら色の小麦ビールです。
ビールの名前は、18世紀の詐欺師、ヴェルゼケのヤン デ リヒテにちなんで付けられました。ルイス・ポール・ブーンの『De gang van Jan De Lichte』という本のインスピレーションは、この強盗に由来している。
Het bier wordt sinds 2005 gebrouwen in Brouwerij De Glazen Toren te Mere in de gemeente Erpe-Mere. Het is een stroblond tarwebier met een alcoholpercentage van 7%. Het bier is vernoemd naar de achttiende-eeuwse boef Jan de Lichte uit Velzeke. Het boek De bende van Jan de Lichte van Louis Paul Boon is op deze rover geïnspireerd.

In 2014, more precisely on November 11, brewery De Glazen Toren in Erpe-Mere, Belgium, celebrates its tenth anniversary. Within ten years the initiative of the brew masters Jef Van den Steen and Dirk De Pauw, both graduates of the Ghent Brewery School CTL, along with a third partner, Mark De Neef, has grown from a brewing hobby into a successful, professional company. The recipe of the steady growth should no doubt be sought in the mission of the brewery. De Glazen Toren stands for brewing unfiltered quality beers in a time-honoured, traditional manner in a very modern brewery, with the use of only the best ingredients, and without any additions or artificial means.

Brewery De Glazen Toren, founded in 2002, is an initiative of two brew masters graduated at CTL (now HO) Ghent, Jef Van den Steen, renowned beer author, and his “companion de route” since 1988, Dirk De Pauw.
The brewery immediately put itself on the (international) map with a number of its own beer brands.
The largest sales markets are currently the USA, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Japan, Austria, Ireland and Great Britain. The Dutch market is also experiencing strong growth. From January 2021, exports will also be made to Australia and the Russian Federation. With 80% of the production destined for the aforementioned countries, De Glazen Toren is primarily an export brewery.
Nevertheless, the local anchoring is also important for the fast-growing brewery. Very recently, the beers were included in the basket of the central purchasing office Prik & Tik, and the collaboration with Delhaize / Le Lion was reconfirmed.
The beers are brewed in a modern 25 Hl installation in Erpe-Mere. In view of the strongly growing demand and the lack of space on the current site, the brewery was forced to look for an additional location for further growth. This was found in the industrial zone AALST ZUID III, where a particularly spacious production hall was purchased. It was completely renovated and equipped for the further expansion of the brewery. At this site 6 cooled cylindroconical fermentation tanks of 37 Hl / each were installed. At the same time, a new Italian-German filling line was installed for 33 cl bottles, and an ultra-modern refermentation chamber.
Despite all the investments in high-tech conditions, the brewery's mission remains unchanged: to brew tasty natural beer in a modern installation in a traditional way, using only the best raw materials and without the addition of any artificial additive!
