Our Lambicus Blanche is a traditional lambic, and as Belgian White beers, spiced with coriander. It’s a refreshing beer with flavours of wheat, citrus and spicy notes.
Brasserie Timmermans / ティンマーマン醸造所
1702年以来300年にわたり、イッテルベークでランビックを醸造してきました。ブリュッセルの中心部から数マイル離れたこの醸造所は、当時は「モール(モグラ)醸造所」として知られていました。ヤン・ヴァンデルミューレンが所有していたこの醸造所は、農場、果樹園、カフェ、麦芽工場でもありました。

Once upon a time, it seemed like everyone brewed beer in Belgium.
Professional brewers shared their knowledge with private individuals whose brewing installation was located in their living room, with farmers who had their hands brew on quiet days and with abbeys who claimed their brews had medicinal properties.
Depending on their region, brewers used different ingredients in varying quantities, which explains why so many regional beers emerged.
Timmermans has brewed lambic in Itterbeek for the last 300 years, ever since 1702. A few miles from the centre of Brussels, it was then known as “The Mole Brewery”. Owned by Jan Vandermeulen, it was also a farm, an orchard, a café and a malt-house.

This unique beer, made with 30% wheat, is brewed in Itterbeek, in the oldest active lambic brewery. At its origin is a miracle: micro-organisms in the air of the Senne valley end up in the wort and cause spontaneous fermentation. This is why a true lambic is brewed only within a 15 km radius of Brussels, in the area known as Pajottenland. Since 1993, Martin’s Finest Beer Selection has been proud to preserve this authentic part of Belgium’s beer heritage.
